Project Management Methodology

To help ensure success in the delivery of large, complex projects with little or no lag time, owner/operators require that their project management teams develop plans that minimize risk and can execute it effectively. Alpha views this as a requirement of their project management services and in support of this, has developed excellent project management competencies and methodologies.

Using the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) PMBOK® as the foundation, Alpha Project Management group has developed a detailed suite of project management procedural documents available for use by project teams in their execution of each of the five phases of a project: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure.

The successful application of Project Management involves an effective, iterative process. Our “Project Lifecycle” makes use of this iterative approach in its formalized framework of standard procedures, templates and guidelines. The intent of the framework is to provide a foundation that enables the organization, across all areas of service, to deliver quality integrated well construction and intervention services that lower total cost through application of proven, disciplined processes.
